For generations thereafter, this knowledge was secretly imparted from each Ravenwood parent to child under veil of darkness in the sanctuary of our venerable manor.

This collection of magical teachings, rituals, and paranormal research became known as the Ravenwood Protocols - a kind of metaphysical doctrine guiding our relationship with unseen realms. While we had to publicly deny our occult activities to avoid scrutiny, our mastery of the preternatural only grew over the centuries behind closed doors.

Spells, Potions, and Rituals

Over the ages, my Ravenwood ancestors have developed an extraordinary array of complex spells, potions, sigils, and metaphysical rituals within our protocols. Each generation adds their own discoveries to our familial grimoire known as The Ravenwood Codex - a leather-bound tome brimming with centuries of our collected occult knowledge.

One of our most enduring spells involves candles carved from boxwood harvested beneath a full moon. When lit at the witching hour and placed in a specific pentacle formation, the boxwood candles are said to hasten communication with benevolent spirits. We have also perfected elixirs using belladonna, wormwood and dragon's blood to induce prophetic dreams and visions, allowing glimpses into the future.

The family has also crafted intricate sigils designed to ward off malevolent entities or exorcise poltergeists from a haunted dwelling. Our protocols describe special feasts and rituals to observe solstices, equinoxes and lunar phases in accordance with ancient pagan traditions - all conducted in the labyrinth of magical chambers and parlors within the manor.

Perhaps most remarkably, the Ravenwood Protocols are said to temporarily lift the veil between this world and the next. Through them, we have manifested physical apparitions during candlelit séances.
